Fukuyama (福山) is a Magic User who works as a waiter in Restaurant Tanba and was introduced in Chapter 24 of Volume 5.

He wears a simple ski mask and a plain white dress shirt. Despite his menacing masked appearance, however, he sports a normal haircut of black hair, slightly tanned skinned, and an average looking face.
Personality[]
He is an enthusiastic, easy-going young man who idolizes Tanba, always wanting to help and improve his magic. He is hardworking and loyal, willing to protect everyone from harm. Often wishes his magic was something cooler than turn things into pies. Fukuyama is a kindhearted, and admitted that though he has used his magic in self-defense against aggressive magic users, he always has felt too guilty to ever practice his magic on humans.
History[]
Kaiman saved him from a group of Magic-Users who tried to capture him for the Blue Night to become their partner. Thankful for that, Tanba gave Kaiman a job in his restaurant and Kaiman became Fukuyama's co-worker.
His everyday routine consists of preparing meat pies (the restaurant's main dish), cleaning, and serving customers, which he does from early morning until late at night. He accompanied Tanba and Kaiman to the Devil's Prison where they gave the last meal to a prisoner named Shimizu, as a way to help Kaiman to meet a Cross-Eyes to understand more of his past.
Fukuyama turned Yaku into a meat pie when he tried to kill Kaiman in the streets, bursting the sorcerer guts from the inside-out and morphing him into a giant pie (which was later eaten by Ebisu).
During the contest in En's Mansion between Tanba's Restaurant and Asuka, Fukuyama was among those who were lured by the smell of the pies made by Asuka's magic, Angel. He became entranced when he ate one of her apple pies, but the magic was dispelled when Angel was banished and Fukuyama was released from the effects.
When the Cross-Eyes started the genocide of Magic Users, the restaurant was invaded and destroyed by the gang members. Fukuyama was able to turn a large number of goons into meat pies in defense, with Tanba and Kirion being both impressed and terrified by Fukuyama's powerful magic. When the Boss was turned into Aikawa once again, he ordered Fukuyama to use his magic. While recognizing his voice, Fukuyama turned Aikawa into a meat pie and the Cross-Eyes (with Saji half turned into a pie) escaped from the restaurant.
During the apocalyptic rain in the Magic User realm, Fukuyama fell sick due to the effects of the rain, but still tried to go and help Tanba when he went outside to look for survivors. They were both was surprised by the appearance of Asuka, now inside her Angel for minimal safety, but all were saved by Kirion who then took care of them.
