Thirteen is a resident of Hole, and recurring character. Thirteen is a side character who rarely seems to have any real plot significance, but shows up consistently anyway. He is a resident of the Hole, and seemingly a friend of Nikaido and Doc.

Appearance

Thirteen is often seen wearing a hat with a stripe down the top, a worn jacket with spikes on the shoulders, a plain, grungy t-shirt with the number "13" on the front, tight pants, and some sort of skirt like apparel that appears to be plaid.

He has two red stripes on each cheek, and sunken eyes with small pupils and large bags underneath. His teeth are very pointed, but are more triangular that Risu's needle-like teeth. Thirteen's hair is fairly short, but unkempt and reaches the back of his neck. It is choppy and appears to be blonde, but may actually be light brown. There are no canon colored pictures of thirteen, so most coloring is arbitrary and at the artist's discretion.

Thirteen is shown to be quite tall in comparison to the other characters around him and his true height is speculated to be even greater, since he is almost always seen to be slouching. At the time of his first appearance, Thirteen is fairly thin and gaunt, but over the course of the next fifteen volumes or so, fills out noticeably. In most recent issues, his body type appears to be slightly chunkier and healthier looking. You go little man.

Personality

Thirteen is very laid back, but seems to be very emotional if his reactions are anything to gauge by. He is quite to react with extreme emotion such as irritation, fear, anger, and occasionally more joyous feelings. Thirteen is somewhat of a coward and often shies away from danger. He shows romantic interest in Nikaido early on, though not as serious as Kaiman's clear attachment, but later in the series it seems to simmer into more of a loyalty of friendship.
